We are qualified to carry out service and repair work on your hybrid and electric vehicle (HEV).
Hybrid and electric vehicles (HEVs) are powered by both petrol and electricity. Both are becoming more popular and while total sales across Australia is still relatively low, consumers are warming up the overall cost savings and environmental benefits these vehicles offer them over the long term.
In 2021, according to RAC research, around 17, 243 HEVs were sold Australia wide. When examining registered electric vehicles, Tesla accounted for nearly 70% of these sales. In WA only 1527 electric vehicles were sold.
One of the main barriers regarding the take up of these vehicles is the cost and of the lack of WA government incentives and supporting infrastructure including charging stations. The biggest expense in producing an electric vehicle is the battery. But despite this one in two RAC members have been quoted as considering buying a HEV vehicle when they next buy a car.
So if you’re a proud HEV owner we have some good news!
We’re qualified to carry out service and repair work on your vehicle. This offers you a viable alternative to the dealerships.
